Dispatching Orders

J&J Classic Nougat endeavours to process, pack and dispatch all orders as efficiently as possible.

Retail Orders
Retail orders are typically processed and dispatched within up to 3 business days of receiving payment.

Wholesale Orders
Wholesale order lead times vary depending on order size and seasonality:

Orders of 30 individual boxes or 3kg (whichever comes first) across all products have a lead time of 2–3 weeks, extending to 4–6 weeks during peak periods (Christmas and Easter).
Orders under 30 boxes or 3kg are typically dispatched within up to 7 business days.

We always endeavour to dispatch orders sooner where possible. Once your order has been placed, we will be in touch to confirm a realistic delivery timeframe based on our current production schedule.

Delivery Method & Timeframes

All orders are dispatched via Australia Post.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on location and factors outside our control:

Standard Delivery: Typically 2–5 business days from dispatch
Express Post: Faster delivery times as provided by Australia Post

Unless otherwise agreed, orders will be delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout.

For urgent delivery requests, please contact J&J Classic Nougat on 0413 914 383 prior to placing your order so special arrangements can be discussed.

If we are unable to dispatch your order within 14 days of receiving payment (excluding wholesale lead times outlined above), you will have the option to cancel your order and receive a full refund.

Delivery Costs

Shipping fees are calculated as follows:

Orders under 4kg

Standard Delivery: $10 flat rate (Australia-wide)
Express Post: $15 flat rate (Australia-wide)

Orders over 4kg

Shipping will be automatically calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.

Before placing a larger order, we encourage you to contact us — we’re happy to check if a more affordable shipping option is available should the automatic rate not be ideal.

Samples

Complimentary samples are available via our website. Customers are required to cover an $8.00 shipping fee.
We also offer unbranded loose nougat in all flavours, available for purchase through our website.

Hot Weather Disclaimer

As all orders are shipped via standard postal services without refrigeration, we are unable to guarantee products will arrive exactly as dispatched.

Nougat is generally durable in warmer conditions; however, extreme heat and transit delays are beyond our control. J&J Classic Nougat takes no responsibility for loss or damage caused by weather conditions or postal handling.

Shelf Life & Storage

Our nougat has a typical shelf life of 18 months, as it is primarily made from honey.
We recommend storing nougat away from direct sunlight. If exposed to heat, the nougat may soften, however it will return to its original texture once brought back to room temperature.

Peak Periods

During Christmas and Easter, dispatch and delivery timeframes may vary due to increased demand and warmer weather conditions. We recommend placing orders early during these periods to avoid delays.
